Fan Favorites

Every so often, Reading with Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers compiles a list of books our fans and their children love. The books listed are as varied as RWITAP's fans and range from decades-old classics to new finds. These "Fan Favorites" lists are a great resource, if you are looking for new books for your collection, for gifts for little ones you know, or for books to donate to a local shelter or community organization. [Sometimes, they are also a quick walk down memory lane!]

Kimberly and Dawn reading

A rare glimpse at two Reading with Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers team members pouring over children's books in front of a friend's extensive home library. This is where we may end up, if you were to invite us into your home!

‘He picked up a handful of snow – and another, and still another. He packed it round and firm and put the snowball in his pocket for tomorrow. Then he went into his warm house.’ (The Snowy Day, by Ezra Jack Keats) Does your little one know what happened to that snowball? How Peter felt after he discovered the snowball’s fate? Or what Peter did the next day with his friend from across the hall? If not, pick up a copy of this lovely, and important, classic today.Snowy Day Cover
